No, I am not going to have this baby at any moment. No, I was not due yesterday. No, please calm down, there is no need to worry that I will immediately deliver on the floor of the grocery store, my office, target, our church, at fedex, the bank, or our favorite local restaurants. No no no. Just no.
C'mon people. Does a pregnant woman who looks rather huge and probably feels even huger really need to hear those comments? The answer? No.
We've got 5-8 more weeks to go. She may look big, but my belly is sure as heck measuring right on schedule and my midwife assures me at every appointment that there is NO reason to think this little lady will come early. She is snug as a bug in there and my belly is just comfortably accommodating her growing squirmy little self:)
We hit 33 weeks yesterday! That means she is around the size of a pineapple at 4.25 pounds. Her kicks have been getting a little less precious and a lot more like a battering ram on my insides. She is one strong soccer star the making!
We really do love her, every day more and more. I can't imagine how much our love will grow once we see her precious face and hold her in our arms. We have picked her name and are getting excited for her arrival...5-8 weeks from now!

32 weeks and goodbye feet
Baby girl is 32 weeks today! Time is flying by despite the increasing Texas heat and we are excited to welcome her in the next 6-8 weeks or so. Crazy!
Little Brack is almost four pounds and getting close to 19 inches long. She is super wiggly. Our midwife told us to start doing a kick count for one hour every day. She should be kicking at least 10 times in that hour, but usually she reaches 10 karate chops in about 10 minutes! What a stud.
While she is busy kicking, Mama is busy growing and growing.
I used to be able to look down and see my feet....
But these days, alll I see is stripes.

29 Weeks going on 100
Today we are 29 weeks. 29 doesn't feel like such a big number until I think about the fact that there are only 11 more weeks to go until her due date.
11 weeks?! That is LESS than three months. There is still so much to do! Finish her nursery, pick a name, find a pediatrician, sleep as much as possible, continue doing start prenatal yoga, sleep some more, go on lots of dates with Josh, take naps, etc. So much to do, so little time. Before we know it, our precious girl will be here, in our arms.
Baby Brack is 2.5 pounds, over 15 inches long, and around the size of a butternut squash. So big!
This week my mom has been here while Josh is away on his last summer trip for work. It was so fun to have Nakita here last weekend to spoil me and now to have my mom here this week. She has been hard at work prettying up our new house, hemming our curtains, planting herbs, creating pretty pots for our outdoor space. Can you spot the cute brown dog in the pictures below?
So thankful for my mom and mom in law for coming to visit and help us get ready for our baby girl!
