Family

The entire purpose of our venture to Oregon was to have a Briggs Family Reunion. I have wonderful memories of reunions from my childhood when we would all meet at Grandma and Grandpa Briggs house during the holidays. We would wear matching sweatshirts, go on sleigh rides, putt putt golf, eat delicious Grandma creations, and listen to stories about how Taz the dog bit the Schwann's Man. We have not had the opportunity to gather, share, and fellowship in some time so this was a special treat.

Our official location was The Grange Hall in Eugene, Oregon.


This lovely little building houses all kinds of events, plays, community meetings, and concerts.


This picture captures my disappointment that we were going to miss the Fiddler's Hootenanny on the 9th...or maybe it was my great excitement that picture time was about to begin.

Phew, what a relief that we chose to walk to the hall rather than drive....or ride.
