Last week found us packing up every last belonging and loading up the cars for trips and trips back and forth.
Seems we have lots of lamps...
Bright and early Saturday morning found us up and waiting for the movers to arrive and take the big things. Coffee helped me greet the early hour with a smile.
Poor Shiner was a bit nervous in her jail bed.
We got settled in rather quickly and Shiner got over her nerves. She switched to designer mode and helped me arrange the gallery wall for the dining room.
It turned out quite nicely I think!
Aside from gallery walls, I have been enjoying making our new house a cozy nest. Comfy and warm with all our happy things around us to make us feel at home.
Overall I have decided that while the moving is not so fun, movers definitely help and the moving IN, the making of a new house into a home, is always a joy!
I agree, moving is not so fun, and getting settled is a joy!
