Good Times

"What did I do with my friends?" I suppose a better question would be "What didn't we do?"

Every day was action packed, full of both adventure and the best food in south central Texas. We saw the River Walk, the Missions, Market Square, the CIA, and more. We went to a local arts festival, Luminaria, and heard the bizarre and awful tunes of the band, Hyper Bubble. We went to Gruene and Shelly got her authentic honky tonk experience.

We visited an exotic animal farm and saw snakes eat mice, witnessed the happy co-existance of miniature horses, a long horn, and a zebra, and watched Emily chase a peacock. The morning was just as weird as it was hilarious.

We went to Austin and saw the capital, shopped on South Congress where we discreetly tried to snap photos of Seth Meyers, putt putted and enjoyed a Shiner at Peter Pan Mini-golf, walked along the river, and ended the day at the Salt Lick. All our adventures were interspersed with breakfast tacos, enchiladas, green chile mac and cheese, the best onion rings in the world, pomegranate margaritas, and more. All in all, it was a perfect weekend full of fun activities, delicious food, and fantastic friends:)
