Last weekend, Josh went to a basketball game with a friend and I stayed home, bitten by the crafting bug. Our dear friends have a sweet baby girl, Ellie, who was in need of some more bibs, and I had been dreaming about ruffles.
Oh the ruffliest of ruffles!
Here was my first attempt at a ruffly bib. Turned out well for a first go, if I do say so myself:)
I also made a slightly larger bib for Ellie to grow into...
All of my baby sewing inspiration, of course, comes from my sweet friend Mary Love who has the cutest Etsy baby shop in the universe.
Shiner was good company as well as Downton Abbey Season 2 on PBS.org. Only a few more days left to watch the full episodes online!
There was one more addition. On Wednesdays, during my lunch hour, my fellow library ladies meet and knit. I am a slow learner at this handicraft, but greatly enjoy the fellowship and fun. I recently completed one of my first projects, a simple pattern for baby leg warmers. Can it get any cuter? I had to add these little lovelies to Ellie's package.
I have another little project in mind for my dear mama's birthday...hopefully it will turn out as successfully as this one!
