At promptly Five o'clock this evening I changed from warm and wooly work clothes, the library is quite chilly you see, to comfy breezy running wear. 65 degrees and a park full of autumnal beauty was calling my name.
Hello Fall, how I have missed you!
My run was short and sweet, 2.5 miles around Cherokee Park which conveniently snuggles up behind my seminary workplace. Crisp air, singing birds, and the companionship of fellow runners, walkers, bikers, and hikers...what more could a girl want?
The park road dips and curves, hilly stretches are followed by welcome flat straightaways. Rounding each bend, trees ablaze with fall brilliance overwhelm the soul.
23 minutes and I have a refreshed spirit, a renewed perspective, a happy heart, and an iphone full of photos to share:)

Beautiful!! Can't wait to join you in a couple of weeks:)
