We are in a mad dash to prepare for our big move coming up next Friday, 12 days away!
Moving four times in four years has kept the sum of our earthly belongings relatively small, yet we still have managed to accumulate more than we need. I recently checked out Sink Reflections from the library which has been very helpful as we sort through our things and prepare for our new home.
On Saturday we donated five garbage bags of gently used clothes to a friend's garage sale and threw out another two garbage bags of clothes that were in sorry shape.
Too many clothes!
In the midst of the cleaning and organizing, I found time for a quick craft for my library co-workers as part of their goodbye gift. Who knew giving a yarn ball a haircut could be so therapeutic, even despite the mess?
Shiner girl started getting a bit nervous at the return of boxes and packing tape. Poor thing!
So we took her outside for a nice long game of catch followed by plenty of chasing her around the yard so she could run and run and get out all of her wiggles and nervous energy. We came back inside tired and happy.
