Hit the Road

On Friday Josh and I dropped Shiner off at Mama and Papa Briggs house for the weekend before we set off to Dallas. It was a sad moment as we left her in the back yard, her tragic eyes accusing us of abandonment and her sorrowful whines rending my heart. The burden of my guilt was becoming too much to bear til I saw this....


Clearly she has recovered and made herself quite at home, even developing friendly relations with Wally and Sgt. Pepper. We are so proud of our girl:)

The purpose of our trip to Dallas was for me to start my graduate pursuits at the University of North Texas. So far I have loved it! Josh has been enjoying spending time with his cousin Aaron while I have been in class. We had lots of fun at a minor league game last night! Josh was such a great (and crazy) fan that they gave him a complimentary t-shirt.
