Recently, we were discussing how God made light. God, in His infinite power, made the sun and the moon and all the stars in the sky. Isn't it amazing? With just His words too! Can you even believe it? Wow, God is awesome. God said four little words, "Let there be light," and the sky was instantly filled with golden luminosity. We were all enraptured by God's amazing light filled creation.
In order to grasp the idea fully, we spent a few moments pondering a world without light. Can you image what the world would be like without the majestic sunshine filling our days with glorious light?
An impertinent young whippersnapper piped up, "Well, we would still have electricity, wouldn't we?!?!?!?!"
Oh boy.
in my second grade Sunday School class, when we were talking about God's creation of man and the animals. i asked how man is different from animals. The girls piped up, birds can fly, the only boy in the class responded, we have jet packs. Then another girl piped up, fish can swim.. he responded we have scuba equipment...
