Christmas Vacation: Amarillo

The first order of business in A-town was to go to Taco Villa, pronounce the la, no Spanish double ll's here. The Villa, as locals call it, is the beloved home of the renown B-E-A-N burrito, that's right, spell it out....the cashier does as she yells your order to the server. The menu at this unique fast food establishment offers french fries right along with your tex-mex entre. Who knew a french fry dipped in re-fried beans could be so delicious. Forget french fries and frosties, this combination sends your tastebuds into a whole new dimension. Another interesting fact about The Villa is their broad fan base who firmly believe that the coca cola served in their fountain is the "BEST IN THE WORLD" or my favorite line, "sweet nectar of the gods."

The rest of our days in Amarillo were spent relaxing, eating lots of chex mix and other tasty treats, playing games while drinking white russians, watching movies and enjoying Josh's delicious and colorful drink creations,

spending time with family,

playing with fire,

and of course, enjoying the snow.

It was a delightful week:)
