Christmas Vacation: Holiday Reminiscing

We had a wonderful two weeks of Christmas Vacation. It was a huge blessing to have two whole weeks off to celebrate the season, rest, and visit family and friends. With our huge dog in our little civic all the way to Amarillo, there was no room to stow our Christmas gifts for each-other. Thus my curiosity and impatience to open presents and watch Josh open his big present was kindly gratified by my sweet husband on the Saturday night before Christmas.

Josh was VERY surprised by his big gift, a Playstation 3. He had no idea I had actually gotten him one. He was thinking I was going to get him some socks and maybe a few shirts or sweaters. He would have been perfectly content with these things, but opening the PS3 made his Christmas. Even almost three weeks later he is still pleased as punch with his new toy:)

I received lots of wonderful gifts from my hero. Here is a collective shot of our merry christmas presents. We had a very happy evening all around!!!

The next part of our Christmas Vacation was for Josh to complete his GMAT exam on the Monday morning before Christmas. I managed to pack Shiner, a bag for us, a bag for her, some snacks for everyone, and Christmas presents for family into the car, picked him up after his test, and off we went. We were so happy for the Josh's great success on such a tough exam and thrilled to be heading to Amarillo to see family. Shiner was the best girl ever on the 8 hour car ride...every once in awhile she would come her papa a little love.

What a sweet pup:)
