On Saturday morning after our Italian belly dancing extravaganza, Callie and I went for a nice run through Trinity's Campus, past the Japanese Tea Garden, and finished through Brackenridge Park. The air was cool and the sun was shining. Families were out and about about enjoying a morning at the park or on their way to the zoo. It was a perfect morning for an easy run with my sister. What a treat!
We came home just in time to eat some yummy cinnamon streusel orange muffins warm out of the oven. Shiner wanted to sit next to Callie during breakfast.
Shiner sure loves her Aunt Callie and they snuggled and played for the rest of the morning.
After lunch we ventured out to enjoy lovely weather and show Callie the sights downtown. We walked around Market Square and took a boat ride tour along the Paseo del Rio.
We ended the afternoon the only way you can in San Antonio, ritas and chips at Tomatillos. What a perfect San Antonio Saturday with Callie!
