While we were walking around Seattle on Sunday, in the midst of our Crab Pot and Pike's Place adventures, we noticed many street performers. They were all a bit unusual and I managed to snap photos of two groups.
This first shot is of a group in front of the first ever Starbucks. They were cool yet we thought they were a little hill billy-ish. We had no idea what was coming next.
These guys were so bizarre. They made the other band, with their wash tub instrument, look contemporary and fresh. I felt bad taking so many pictures of these gents without giving them a small offering. Only after I dropped some change in their case did I realize that their twangy mumbly song was about their cocaine habit....oops.
Their next selection was about catching cat fish. They catch cat fish in all shapes and sizes,
cat fish in disguises...
What?
During this odd song that made no sense, one of their motley crew started playing a beat on the side walk. With some coins. It was as weird, or weirder than it sounds.
What a day.
