Slugger

On Friday of our graduation celebration of all things Louisville, we headed to the Louisville Slugger Factory and Museum. Here we enjoyed a tour of the factory and witnessed the production of the very pink bats used by the MLB on Mother's Day. Go Moms!

Josh and John got to hold a vintage Mickey Mantle bat.

Josh is so tough...

Perhaps the most exciting event of the day was seeing the Texas Ranger's bats used to win the American League Championship.

After the museum, we headed to the University of Louisville campus for Josh to be honored with other students who worked graduate assistanceships during their time at school. From there we ventured to Louisville Stoneware then off to a lovely summer evening of minor league baseball at the Louisville Bats. The Bats lost miserably, but the fireworks after the game more than made up for it.

We have grown to love Louisville over the past two years and it was so fun to show off our little town!
