Spring to Summer

These past weeks have been quite busy for the Brack household. Academic banquets, senior dinners, graduations, midnight pancake breakfasts, checking out dorm rooms, etc. have filled the days and nights of May. Yet, the end is near, classes are winding down and summer is quickly approaching.

To celebrate we made chocolate fondue. After assuring Josh that I knew precisely what I was doing because I had made this multiple times in the past...I burned the first batch of chocolate into an ugly smelly unrecognizable glob. Thankfully we had more chocolate and while the second attempt was not perfect, it sufficed.

We have been enjoying our patio in the warm afternoons. I am still gloating over my gardening prowess. Behold the bougainvillea in its flourishing glory!

Last Saturday we went to a new farmers market close to our house. What a perfect way to spend the morning wandering from tent to tent, the colorful fruit, veggies, flowers, tasty breads, jams, and other homemade goodies a delight for the senses.

We came home with these delicious peaches....mmmmm:)

Welcome summer!!
