For my 26th birthday, my sweet husband took me to a delectable dinner at Silo. We shared an appetizer and a salad before we even got to our entrees, then we splurged on dessert. It was a relaxing and delicious evening and there is no one else in the world that I would rather have spent it with. I am so thankful for his love. He is my wonderful hero forever.
The day after my birthday, he managed to surprise me with a little cinco de mayo fiesta with some of my dearest SA friends. In the midst of our current busyness with moving, finishing up jobs and classes, and job hunting, the party was an oasis for the heart. Friends and margaritas, what more could a girl want?
In the midst of his busy work day he managed to sneak away to buy and deliver fiesta decorations including papel picado, mini pinatas, and a birthday sign. He also went over to my favorite taco shack and got a huge stack of the best tortillas in the world so that the fajitas that my parents made for dinner were perfection. He took everything back to my parents house, the gracious co-hosts, and decorated the patio, just for me. I feel like the luckiest girl ever!
Oh, and he also bought a birthday sombrero:)
Looks like fun! LOVE the decorations, and the sombrero - and I remember those cute little pinatas :)
